Huawei may be excluded from the UK 5G network this year

Allegedly, Prime Minister Boris Johnson intends to make significant changes to state policy on this issue after the Government Communications Center (GCHQ, the UK intelligence agency responsible for electronic intelligence and protecting government and army information) reviewed risks associated with a Chinese company.

The GCHQ report for Johnson is supposed to say that US sanctions on Huawei will force the Chinese company to use “unreliable” technologies.

The Prime Minister’s previous decision to grant Huawei a limited role in the UK 5G network has caused tensions between London and Washington in recent months.
