Huawei to release EMUI 11 based on Android 11 for 40 device models

According to network sources, the next version of the Huawei EMUI 11 user interface, which will be based on the Android 11 software platform, will be more widespread than the current version of the shell. It is noted that the manufacturer intends to extend EMUI 11 to 40 models of smartphones and tablets, due to which the user base of the shell will be more than 250 million people.

According to available data, the most current version of the EMUI 10.1 interface is available on more than 30 models of smartphones and tablets. However, a stable version of Android 11 is expected to be released in September, on the basis of which EMUI 11 will be created. The source claims that the final version of the new Huawei user interface will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year.

The first smartphone with EMUI 11 onboard will be the flagship device Huawei Mate 40, which is expected to be presented in September, but will only go on sale in October this year. After that, Huawei will begin to distribute EMUI 11 on more than 40 models of smartphones and tablets, thanks to which the shell will be delivered to over 250 million users worldwide.   

We will remind you, a few days ago it became known that the annual event Huawei Developer Conference will be held from 10 to 12 September in China. As part of this conference, the vendor will present not only the EMUI 11 user interface, but also the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system, HMS Core 5.0 mobile development tools, and other new products.
