Huawei will present smartphones nova 8 and nova 8 Pro with advanced cameras next week
Huawei has confirmed the reports of insiders about the company’s plans to announce new models of the Huawei nova 8 series of smartphones this year. Today it became known that the event dedicated to the announcement of new products will take place on December 23rd. This date was previously reported by blogger @DigitalChatStation. In addition to the nova 8 series, Huawei will also showcase the Huawei Enjoy 20SE smartphone and the Huawei Watch Fit smartwatch at the event.
According to sources, Huawei nova 8 will receive a 6.5-inch LCD screen with FHD + resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The top-left corner of the display will house a 16MP selfie camera. On the back of the smartphone, there will be a camera with a main 48-megapixel sensor, as well as an 8-megapixel sensor, a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography, and a 2-megapixel sensor for measuring scene depth.
The new smartphone will be based on the proprietary HiSilicon Kirin processor. The battery capacity will be 4000 mAh. It also reported support for 40W fast charging. In addition to the nova 8, the nova 8 Pro model will also be presented at the event.
According to previous reports, the starting price of the Huawei nova 8 will be around 3000 Yuan ($ 458), while the Huawei nova 8 Pro will be around 4000 Yuan ($ 611).
