Both support virtual surround sound with Ngenuity software
HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology Company, has announced the release of two new HyperX Cloud Stinger family headsets. These are the HyperX Cloud Stinger Core + 7.1 and HyperX Cloud Stinger Core Wireless + 7.1 models. Both of them support virtual surround sound using Ngenuity software.

The mass of headsets that use 40 mm emitters does not exceed 250 g. Headsets are equipped with adjustable steel headbands, volume controls on one of the cups and a microphone with noise reduction function. The range of reproduced frequencies is 20 Hz – 20 kHz, impedance is 16 Ohms, harmonic distortion does not exceed 2%. The electret condenser microphone has a frequency response of 50 Hz-18 kHz and a sensitivity of -40 dBV. A distinctive feature of the HyperX Cloud Stinger Core Wireless + 7.1 model is support for wireless radio connections in the 2.4 GHz band. The communication range is 20 m, the battery life is 17 hours. For a wired connection, both models use a cable length of 2.5 m.
The HyperX Cloud Stinger Core + 7.1 gaming headset costs $ 60, while the HyperX Cloud Stinger Core Wireless + 7.1 costs $ 80. They have a two-year warranty.
