Second place is also taken by Lada, but more modern and comfortable – Lada Niva Travel. There is an 80-horsepower gasoline engine, as well as permanent all-wheel drive with a center differential with forced locking and a lowering range in the transmission. Price – 1.015 million rubles.

In third place is an old man who can compete with the classic Niva for the title of the most archaic Russian car. However, this old man is not cheap – for the 2023 UAZ Hunter with a ZMZ-40911 gasoline engine with a capacity of 112.2 hp. and a five-speed “mechanics” BAIC are asking for 1.39 million rubles. The 2022 version with a 134-horsepower ZMZ-40906 engine and a 5-speed Dymos manual transmission costs 1.395 million rubles.

In fourth place is also UAZ, but much more modern – “Patriot”. And here, too, there are two options with a minimum difference in price – 1.53-1.55 million rubles, depending on the environmental class (“Euro-2” or “Euro-5”). The Patriot is equipped with a 2.7-liter ZMZ-409051 engine, a five-speed manual transmission, a plug-in all-wheel drive with a lowering row in the transmission and a rear axle differential lock.

In last place is the most comfortable car of the five, but also the most expensive – for the base Hyundai Creta with a 1.6-liter 121-horsepower engine and a 6-speed “mechanics” they ask for 2.01 million rubles. Against the background of other models, the Creta’s off-road capabilities are the most modest.
