Japanese company Idemitsu Kosan has announced that its OLED materials plant in Chengdu, China, has begun full-scale operation. Deliveries of finished products will begin in January. The opening ceremony of the enterprise took place on December 1.

Idemitsu Chengdu Factory Launches OLED Materials

This is Idemitsu’s third and largest production. The plant can produce 12 tons of finished products per year. Given its capabilities, Idemitsu can ship 22 tons of OLED materials annually to customers. Idemitsu’s first facility is located in Japan. Its productivity is 2 tons per year. The second, located in South Korea, after the expansion, which we once reported, produces 8 tons of products per year.

According to the manufacturer, the plant in Chengdu will provide a stable supply of materials to customers in China, growing steadily.
