In honor of the release of the first add-on and the fresh patch, Crusader Kings III became temporarily free for trial on Steam
The days of the free game of the global historical strategy Crusader Kings III have started on the digital distribution service Steam. The promotion is timed to coincide with the premiere of the large-scale patch 1.3 and the first expansion.
The free version of Crusader Kings III is available on the project’s Steam page. The offer will expire on March 21 this year at 21:00 Moscow time.
Also, as part of the Crusader Kings III promotion and content for it, you can purchase at a discount: 20% for the main game (744 rubles), 21% for the seasonal subscription (683 rubles), and 10% for the “royal” edition that combines the two previous products (1160 rubles ).
The first add-on is called Northern Lords and is a so-called atmospheric set – this is not a full-fledged expansion but a thematic content set.
In particular, Northern Lords will add new events, solutions, and decorations to Crusader Kings III and delve deeper into the Scandinavian culture. The add-on costs 175 rubles.
Finally, along with the premiere of Northern Lords, patch 1.3 became available for download, with which winter weather, a dueling system, and the opportunity to feel like a poet appeared in Crusader Kings III.
Crusader Kings III is available on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store). By November 2020, sales exceeded 1 million copies, but Paradox Interactive believes that the main success is “with what enthusiasm [the project] was received by our players. “
