Incendiary Early Access Launch Trailer for Rogue Company

Hi-Rez Studios, known for Paladins and Smite, unveiled their multiplayer third-person shooter Rogue Company last September. The game has now reached its Early Access launch on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC ( via the Epic Games Store ), and the developers have released a great trailer for the occasion.

The video shows how two characters (Ronin and Dima) visit the E7 store, which sells a wide variety of weapons: from simple pistols and machine guns to sawn-off shotguns, bazookas, and even swords (for those who prefer saving ammunition and melee combat). The choice of weapons is accompanied by hilarious inserts about their unsuccessful use. In the end, both heroes break out into the street and immediately put their new equipment into action.

At the same time, the developers released a video in which they talked about a shooter that they have been working on for several years. In the coming weeks and months, Hi-Rez Studios plans to test everything from basic game mechanics to server operation. New agents, maps, rating mode, game systems, and more will be offered. The studio hopes to create its largest and most ambitious game ever.

Another video announces that Rogue Company supports cross-platform play and transfer of progress between PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Matchmaking is platform-based, meaning console owners will play separately from PC users, although custom teams can violate this rule. Players will be able to transfer purchases and progress to any platform.

A video introducing in detail the world of the game is also presented. The Rogue Company is an organization that fights evil all over the world in style. Completing missions, players will visit the most exotic corners of the globe, be it the skyscrapers of Dubai or the coast of Italy. The key to victory is to combat prowess and effective use of a wide variety of weapons. Between rounds, you can buy and improve agents’ arsenal, devices, and skills, adjusting them to your style.

Also on the official Rogue Company YouTube channel, you can watch seven new videos dedicated to individual agents, their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. You can access the beta by purchasing one of the Starter Packs, Standard Packs, or Premium Packs. They differ in the sets of unlocked agents, cosmetics, and other features. The exact time of the full launch has not yet been announced.
