The only difference between the special series chips and the usual ones is the packaging. Instead of a boring blue branded box, the Special Edition chips come in bright packaging inspired by the upcoming PC game Marvel’s Avengers. The creator of the art is the American artist Tristan Eaton. The processor package also includes a commemorative card from the artist.

Despite the fact that the box itself says that there is no game in the kit, buyers of these chips receive a code to activate the digital version of the Marvel’s Avengers game, which will be released on September 4. Intel estimates the included materials in the box at $ 80. Buyers of special versions of chips will be able to rely not only on the original game but also on DLC content, as well as new costumes for Black Widow, Captain America, Hulk, Miss Marvel, Thor, and Iron Man. The promotion will run from August 28, 2020, to February 28, 2021. You will need to activate the code for the game until March 31 of next year.

American retailer B&H Photo Video estimates special versions of the Core i9-10900K and Core i7-10700K processors at $ 600 and $ 407, respectively. At the same time, the special version of the Core i9-10900K, although it looks somewhat strange, is sold cheaper than the usual one by about $ 50. The Core i7-10700K model costs the same regardless of the version. The same situation is observed in the German store CaseKing.de. There, a special version of the Core i9-10900K costs € 545 with the usual price of € 607.
