Kevin Ho, President of Huawei Consumer Business Group Mobile Phones, has announced a new Huawei smart screen for cars that runs HarmonyOS with Huawei HiCar technology.

Kevin said more than 5 million new vehicles will support Huawei HiCar in 2021, with the new smart screen supporting full data sync with the mobile device. Already, Huawei HiCar supports more than 150 car models from 20 well-known manufacturers.
According to Huawei, the new smart screen can be updated and added with new features in future updates. This device will allow you to connect your smartphone and use the smart screen to make calls, search for information, use navigation applications, listen to music and so on.
The company did not disclose details of the technical specifications, but has finally released an image of the device that shows the screen is mounted on a special stand. Previous teasers have also confirmed the presence of a retractable camera.
The manufacturer confirmed that full details will be provided on November 5th.
