Introduced StarBook Mk V laptop powered by Intel Tiger Lake and various Linux distributions

European company Star Labs has announced the StarBook Mk V laptop, equipped with a 14-inch Full HD display (1920 × 1080 pixels) and an eleventh generation Intel Core processor from the Tiger Lake platform.

The novelty carries on board the Core i3-1110G4 chip, which contains two cores to process up to four instruction streams simultaneously. The clock speed in the “turbo” mode can reach 3.9 GHz. An integrated Intel UHD graphics controller is provided. The maximum configuration uses a Core i7-1165G7 processor with four cores up to 4.7 GHz.

The amount of DDR4-3200 RAM can be up to 64 GB. Responsible for data storage is a PCIe NVMe solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 1 TB. There are Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless adapters.

Various operating systems with a Linux kernel are available for the novelty – Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Manjaro, MX Linux, Elementary OS, and Zorin OS.
