IPhone 12 presentation will take place on September 10? Apple announced the broadcast, which was then canceled
Typically, Apple will announce new iPhones in September, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and rumors of delays, it is doubtful that the tradition will continue this year. So far, the company has only made it clear that shipments of the new iPhones will indeed be delayed. But when the presentation will take place has not yet been specified. However, one Twitter user reported that he received notification of a scheduled September 10 live broadcast on Apple’s YouTube channel.
“It was on my YouTube subscription page, now it’s removed, ” wrote the author of the post. The broadcast die, however, points to WWDC 2020, so the premature announcement of the broadcast could indeed be Apple’s mistake. The Cupertino company itself did not comment, and there are currently no events scheduled on Apple’s YouTube page.
The announcement of the iPhone 12 is indeed highly anticipated – this family of smartphones should be the first for the Apple company to support 5G networks. A lot of other improvements and as many as four models of the new family are expected. As always, Apple is trying to keep informed about upcoming products and the fall event strictly private, and fans look forward to receiving invitations from the press soon.
Typically, Apple adds a picture and event title to the newsletter to hint at an upcoming product announcement. This year’s iPhone market launch may be delayed until October.
