iPhone 12 Pro Max almost catches up with Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in DxOMark display ranking
DxOMark has published the results of testing the display of the flagship smartphone Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max. The device has shown excellent results. He lacked only one point to top the rating, which is led by the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
iPhone 12 Pro Max scored 88 points. Recall that the more compact iPhone 12 Pro scored 87 points, which allowed it to take the third line of the ranking. It’s worth noting that the iPhone 12 Pro Max shares the second position in the list with the OnePlus 8 Pro, which was introduced in April this year. The weak point of the iPhone 12 Pro Max display is its refresh rate, which is 60 Hz, while other flagship devices use at least 90 Hz matrix.
However, DxOMark claims that the device displays content beautifully in all lighting conditions. Strengths include high maximum brightness and HDR10 support. However, according to experts, the matrix is noticeably “yellow”. Periodic screen flickering was also noted at low brightness levels.
