According to online sources, the Apple iPhone 12 smartphones introduced this month feature an update to the iOS software platform via fifth-generation (5G) mobile networks. The source says that this feature is implemented in all four models of the new generation of iPhone. Previous iPhone models will only be able to update via Wi-Fi.
According to the available data, users will need to activate the corresponding option in the device settings in order to download operating system updates via the 5G network.
