Recall that this week Epic Games showed the techno demo Unreal Engine 5, launched on the PlayStation 5 console. This demo worked at 1440p at 30 frames per second. An Epic Games China employee later confirmed that the same demo can work on a laptop with a GeForce RTX 2080 at a higher frame rate. At the same time, a fast NVMe 970 SSD should be installed on the laptop.

It turns out that the existing notebooks with NVMe 970 and Nvidia GeForce RTX2080 are already superior to the unreleased PlayStation 5 in this specific technical demonstration.

Our goal is to ensure that the quality of the graphics is the same as in this demonstration, and we want it to work at 60 fps on the next-generation consoles. But now we are not reaching the goal. So far, the demo is running at 30 fps. We want to achieve 60 fps, but so far we have not succeeded.
