Proportional iPhone 11 modification will rise in price

Well-known insider Jon Prosser turned to his sources, which previously had reliable leaks regarding the launch dates of the new iPhone SE. And these same sources have confirmed that the younger iPhone 12 will indeed be cheaper than the iPhone 11, but not by $ 100, but by 50. That is, it will start at $ 650.
Recall, we are talking about the iPhone 12 model with a 5.4-inch OLED screen. That is, it will be a completely new model. The direct successor to the iPhone 11 will be the iPhone 12 with a 6.1-inch screen, and now it will not only not get cheaper – it will be more expensive. For the basic version, they will ask for $ 750. As for the older iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, their prices will not change: from $ 1,000 and $ 1,100, respectively.
By the way, given the price of the base iPhone 12, it is difficult to predict the fate of the iPhone 11. It is unlikely to fall in price to $ 550, and at a price of $ 600 for Apple, it makes little sense to leave it in the line. That is, a situation may arise that the iPhone XR and iPhone 11 together disappear from the Apple assortment (in many major markets), and the iPhone 12 in a smaller modification will become the most affordable modern smartphone.
