Telegram became the first application with the function Announce Messages with Siri
The latest beta version of the Telegram messaging app supports Announce Messages with Siri on AirPods, allowing users to listen to and reply to new messages without using an iPhone or iPad.

The Announce Messages with Siri function allows you to read the incoming message on the headphones connected to the iPhone or iPad, even if they are locked. When the voice assistant Siri receives a Telegram message, it plays a sound signal, announces the sender’s name, and reads the message text. Then you have the option to also reply to the message using voice dialing without touching your smartphone.
The Announce Messages with Siri feature has been available to developers for over a year, but Telegram was the first app to use it. Users of latest Telegram’s latest beta version can enable this feature (Settings – Notifications – Announce Messages With Siri).
This feature was introduced in iOS 13.2 and is supported on Apple AirPods, AirPods Pro, Powerbeats, Powerbeats Pro, and Beats Solo Pro.
