Nvidia has published a report on the results of the third quarter of the 2024 financial year. As expected, the next quarter was very successful for the company.
Revenue rose to a company record of $18.12 billion, which is three times more than a year ago! Operating profit increased by 1633%, to $10.4 billion, and net profit grew by 1259%, while net profit itself was $9.24 billion.
Is Nvidia no longer a gaming graphics card company?
Of course, such a breakthrough is due almost entirely to computational accelerators. This is clearly seen in the report: the Data Center division brought the company $14.5 billion, while the gaming division brought in only $2.9 billion.
Moreover, revenue from sales of gaming solutions for the year, of course, grew well, but we are still talking about 55%, while the DC division showed an almost fourfold increase.
