It won’t take more than a hundred hours: journalists told in detail how much time can be spent on Cyberpunk 2077

Not so long ago, information surfaced on the Web that you can get to the final in Cyberpunk 2077 in more than twenty hours. According to early users, the game is shorter than The Witcher 3. However, the developers themselves spoke about this. And now the German portal GameStar has decided to bring additional clarity on this matter. Representatives of the publication told in detail how much and on what activities you can spend time in the game.

A GameStar reporter made it to the Cyberpunk 2077 story campaign finale in 27 hours. On average, it takes 25-30 hours, although, as mentioned above, you can do it faster. However, secondary activities are not included during this time. If the user wants to plunge into the most important additional tasks for the narrative and accumulate some in-game items, then he will have to spend from 50 to 60 hours.

Clearing the map and participating in all the activities implemented in Cyberpunk 2077 will take about 90 hours. And if, in addition to this, there is a desire to read all the notes, listen to TV reports and dialogues, then the time in the project will increase to 100 hours.

These figures can be compared with those for The Witcher 3. According to How Long to Beat, the story in the previous CDPR game took about 50 hours to complete. If you add minor activities, then the indicator increases to 102 hours. And the complete passage of “The Witcher 3” with a map cleanup takes 173 hours. We are talking about the base game, without the addons “Stone Hearts” and “Blood and Wine”.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on December 10, 2020, on PC, PS4, Xbox One, GeForce Now, and Google Stadia. Later, there will be versions for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Series S.
