Microsoft recommends Microsoft Teams
Microsoft started reminding users about the imminent closure of one of the versions of Skype. We are talking about a service called Skype for Business Online, in the Russian version – Skype for Business Online.
It’s time to find an alternative: Microsoft will soon close one of the versions of Skype
Microsoft itself says that the already well-known Microsoft Teams are replacing Skype for Business Online as the company’s professional solution for online meetings.
Initially, the company announced the upcoming closure of Skype for Business Online back in 2019. Now Microsoft has confirmed that the deadline remains the same – July 31, 2021. Microsoft explained in a recent post:
While we’re a little nostalgic for what’s going away, it’s easy to see how much more companies can do with Teams — stay connected and achieve more at work, school, and life. And it inspires us to move forward. ”
