Kickstarter is raising money for a new project that travelers will definitely like. The project is called Airwheel and is a self-propelled suitcase that can be ridden like a scooter.
The novelty is equipped with a steering wheel, engine, battery, 4-inch wheels and an aluminum alloy frame. This allows the system to support up to 130 kg of weight.
The self-propelled suitcase develops speed up to 10 km/h, the charge lasts for an hour of driving. You can also quickly replace the battery. You can also charge your phone or laptop from it. There are two USB ports available. For luggage, a volume of 28 liters is available, and the empty suitcase itself weighs 7.5 kg. There’s also a backlight that’s controlled from your smartphone and a search mode to find your suitcase on the luggage belt.
Less than 6.5 thousand dollars were requested for the project, almost 29.5 thousand have already been collected, and there are still 44 days of the campaign ahead. The cost starts at $459, the first copies will go to their owners in 2023.
