Lamborghini company refitted some workshops
Italian automaker Automobili Lamborghini has announced that the company has refitted some of the shops in its manufacturing plant in Sant’Agata Bolognese, which has been producing medical masks and face shields for the local hospital Sant’Orsola Malpighi in Bologna.
This information, along with photos, was posted on the official website of the manufacturer Lamborghini, which joined the fight against the spread of coronavirus.
A thousand medical masks will now be produced every day in the Lamborghini car upholstery department, and 200 polycarbonate protective medical face shields will be produced daily in the research and development department using 3D printers.
During an emergency like this, we feel the need to do our part. Therefore, we decided to support the Sant’Orsola-Malpigi Hospital, an institution with which we have continued many years of cooperation. We will win this battle together, working in alliance, supporting those who are at the forefront of the fight against this pandemic every day.
Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.
