Last Fix For Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Removed Content Due To Crashes
On March 16, the action-adventure Assassin’s Creed Valhalla received a major free update 1.2.0, which added the “Festival of Ostara” event to the game (runs from March 18 to April 8). Apparently, the blooming Ravensthorpe with unique additional activities like egg hunting is causing the game to crash. Therefore the team decided to remove some content to correct the situation temporarily.
Ubisoft said: “We are rolling out a server-side patch to address the rise in crashes in the Ravensthorpe area. Settlement decorations will be temporarily removed, and the decoration quests for Ostara will be impossible to complete. ” This is a temporary measure – Ubisoft plans to re-enable the content when it resolves the crash issues. However, the time of the release of this fix has not been reported.
The developers describe the temporary in-game event as follows: “The return of spring after a long, harsh winter is a real reason for a feast. Ravensthorpe will host a special event – the Ostara Festival! You will be able to do an exciting search for eggs, as well as take part in Ostara battles, in drunken fights, and the shooting. With the onset of darkness, the Raven clan will need to protect from the wild spirits that wreak havoc in the forest. Receive special rewards for completing missions during the day and night while the holiday lasts. The long winter is over! It’s time to decorate your head with flowers, fill your mug, and feast! “
In addition to the holiday itself, players got access to the Altair costume from the very first Assassin’s Creed, a set of Yule equipment and personalization items, as well as 300 opals. Added the ability to change the appearance of equipment using transmogrification. For 50 silver coins in the Ravensthorpe forge, you can apply the appearance of one item to another (it must be of the same category). Besides, three new skills have appeared. Alvor can use that during the conquest of England: “Fearless Jump,” “Auto-Pick (Ranged),” and “Marketing.” Finally, the ability to zoom the camera has been added, various gameplay improvements, balance changes, and fixes have been made.
On April 29, the release of the first “Wrath of the Druids” add-on to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is expected. The add-on can be purchased separately or as part of the Season Pass. By the way, recently, fans of Assassin’s Creed have repeatedly criticized Ubisoft because the company adds paid content to the in-game store and rarely releases updates. There was even a petition to save the show.
