OPPO to endow 2020’s thinnest smartphone with six cameras
Chinese company OPPO, one of the world’s largest smartphone suppliers, has unveiled a teaser video showing the design of the F17 family of smartphones. The presentation of new products will take place in the near future.
The series will include the base model OPPO F17 and the more powerful modification OPPO F17 Pro. As previously reported, these devices will be the thinnest smartphones in 2020, with a body thickness of 7.48 mm.
The posted video (see below) shows six cameras. In the front part, there is a double block, for which an oblong hole is provided in the upper left corner of the display. The main quadruple chamber is made in the form of a square-shaped module with rounded corners: the optical components are organized in the form of 2 × 2 matrices.
Internet sources reveal the alleged characteristics of the older of the two new products. The OPPO F17 Pro will allegedly include a 6.59-inch display, a 4320 mAh battery with 30-watt charging support, and a mid-range Snapdragon 730 processor. The quad-camera will allegedly combine 64, 12, 8, and 2 million pixel sensors … The dual selfie camera will include a 32-megapixel main sensor.
