According to the leak, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will go on sale on November 13 this year. There will be three editions available to choose from: standard, full, and cross-gen.

The latter will likely cost more than the base one but will offer upgrades to versions for next-gen consoles. Apparently, Activision has decided to monetize the switch to PS5 and Xbox Series X.

As for the game itself, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be a direct sequel to the original Call of Duty: Black Ops from 2010, and not a “soft” restart, as previously thought.

The events of Black Ops Cold War will unfold in the early 80s at the height of the Cold War. In the role of elite operatives, players will have to go in pursuit of a Soviet spy under the pseudonym Perseus.

The developers promise an “exciting” single-player campaign, in which gamers will meet both iconic characters (Woods, Mason, and Hudson), and not yet familiar.

In addition to the story component, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will offer “next-generation multiplayer and zombie mode” Pre-order owners of any of the project’s editions will be able to participate in online battles before the release.
