Both new items are equipped with a 14-inch display. Modifications with HD (1366 × 768 pixels) and Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) panels will be offered; in the second case, the implementation of support for touch control is optionally possible.

The hardware is based on the AMD platform. The 14e Gen 2 comes with a Ryzen for Chromebooks (Ryzen 7 3700C or Ryzen 5 3500C), while the 14w Gen 2 comes with an AMD 3015e chip.

The computers are housed in a ruggedized chassis (MIL-SPEC 810H standard) and equipped with a liquid-resistant keyboard. Weight is approximately 1.45 kg.

Laptops can carry up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM. The Chromebook comes with a 64GB eMMC flash module, and the Windows version can be equipped with a 256GB solid-state drive.

Both new products have USB Type-C, USB 3.1 Type-A, HDMI 1.4 ports, a standard audio jack, and a Wi-Fi 6 wireless adapter.

The computers will go on sale in May for $ 334.
