Lenovo unveils the most powerful IdeaPad laptops – 5i Pro and 5 Pro models on the latest Intel and AMD chips

Lenovo has unveiled the IdeaPad 5i Pro and IdeaPad 5 Pro portable computers at the CES 2021 consumer electronics exhibition, based on Intel and AMD hardware platforms, respectively. They are claimed to be the most powerful notebooks in the history of the IdeaPad family.

The IdeaPad 5i Pro is powered by an 11th Gen Intel processor (up to Core i7). Buyers will be able to choose between a 14-inch 2.8K (16:10) display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 16-inch 2.5K (16:10) display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The maximum amount of RAM is 16 GB.

The IdeaPad 5 Pro laptop, in turn, is equipped with an AMD Ryzen Mobile processor family. Options with the same displays as the Intel variants will be available. However, the 16-inch laptop IdeaPad 5 Pro will be able to carry onboard up to 32 GB of RAM.

For all new products, it is possible to install a discrete graphics accelerator NVIDIA MX450. At the same time, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics card will be available for the older AMD version.

The drive is a fast PCIe M.2 solid-state module with a capacity of up to 1 TB. There is a Wi-Fi 6 wireless controller. Operating system – Windows 10.

All laptops will go on sale in the spring. The price will start at 62966.40.
