The other day we reported that the South Korean company LG received another patent for a smartphone with a flexible pull-out screen. And now Internet sources have spread information that the first commercial device of this type is being prepared for release.

LG is said to release a device with a stretchable display. When folded, the owner will have at his disposal a smartphone that looks like an ordinary monoblock device. By stretching the side of the device, the user can transform it into a mini-tablet.

Unfortunately, there is no information about the technical characteristics of the novelty. According to the available data, in the unfolded state the useful area of the flexible screen will approximately double.

Of course, the equipment will include a multi-module camera. Most likely, the smartphone will be able to function in the fifth-generation (5G) mobile networks.
