The presentation of a new smartphone called Redmi 9 Power will take place on December 17, but how new will this smartphone be? This smartphone is expected to be an improved version of the Redmi Note 9 4G with an additional camera. It will also launch in other markets under the name Redmi 9T.
Sources say the only significant difference between the Redmi Note 9 and the Redmi 9 Power will be the additional 2MP macro camera. The phone should receive image sensors with a resolution of 48, 8, 2, and 2 megapixels.
Redmi 9 Power will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and 64 / 128GB of flash storage. The screen will have a diagonal of 6.53 inches at a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The 8-megapixel camera will be housed in a waterdrop notch.
The main advantage of the smartphone will be a 6000 mAh battery with support for 18-watt charging. It will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack with Hi-Res Audio support, microSD card slot, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and MIUI 12 based on Android 10.
