Mack Trucks said this week that it “improves driver comfort and productivity” by adding Apple CarPlay support to its branded infotainment system. In addition, the updated Mack Premium Comfort 2.0 seat was introduced.
Mack Trucks now support Apple CarPlay
Apple CarPlay provides drivers with a safer and easier way to use the Apple iPhone and its capabilities while driving, according to the manufacturer. Once connected, CarPlay displays key functions such as navigation, unit control and music playback on the Mack infotainment system. Apple CarPlay is available on all Mack Anthem, Pinnacle and Granite trucks equipped with the Mack infotainment system. Customers with trucks already equipped with this system can add Apple CarPlay support via a software update.
