Governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev said that the Russian company Beshtau plans to begin production of tablets and smartphones in the Rostov region.

GC “Beshtau” is engaged in the production of import-substituting products – radio electronics and computer equipment in the Rostov region and Stavropol region. In 2022, the company launched a production facility in Rostov-on-Don for the production of electronic boards for radio-electronic products. The planned production volume for 2023 is 200 thousand units of equipment.
This year, the company began construction of a full-cycle plant for the production of laptops, and also began creating a radio-electronic cluster with production sites in Rostov-on-Don and Essentuki with an investment volume of 12 billion rubles.
