Manufacturers have already started sending GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards to distributors

Photos have appeared on the web confirming that some manufacturers have already begun supplying the new GeForce RTX 3080 Ti video card to distributors. In particular, in one of the unnamed customs transit zones, a batch of boxes with video cards GeForce RTX 3080, GeForce RTX 3090, Radeon RX 580, and even GeForce GT 710 was noticed. It is noteworthy that among them, there were also boxes with not yet announced graphics accelerators GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Ventus 3X OC from MSI.

Video cards, judging by the markings, are sent to Los Angeles, USA. An equally curious detail of the find is that the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Ventus 3X OC is equipped with 12 GB of video memory. The markings also confirm this on the boxes, which in turn puts an end to the disputes and rumors that the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti was supposedly supposed to receive 20 or 16 GB of video memory.

The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is presumably based on one of two GPUs – either the GA102-302 or the GA102-202 with 10,240 CUDA cores. Various network sources claim that the new product will be announced in May, but NVIDIA itself has not yet confirmed this information.

According to the latest data, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti uses a software and hardware mining limiter, which reduces the efficiency of mining the Ethereum cryptocurrency, making the video card an unprofitable acquisition in terms of generating potential profit using this altcoin.
