The official reason for the termination of production of such video cards is not named. However, VideoCardz suggests that the recent announcement of NVIDIA CMP HX video cards for mining based on special Crypto Mining Processors could indirectly affect this. The manufacturers through which these video cards will be distributed may be planning to use cooling systems with a tangential fan in them.

Five versions of the GeForce RTX 3090 equipped with a “turbine” have been presented to date. The resource indicates that the pages with their description have disappeared from the official websites of the companies. Simultaneously, the younger models GeForce RTX 3080 and GeForce RTX 3070 with a “turbine” type cooling system are still in their assortment.

The source indicates that the Emtek GeForce RTX 3090 Blower Edition model announced at the beginning of last month, equipped with a unique printed circuit board, did not actually appear on sale. Moreover, it was not even listed on the official website of the manufacturer. Photos of the video card were found on the website of one of the South Korean retailers.

ASUS has removed the page with the ASUS GeForce RTX 3090 Turbo model from its website. The younger models GeForce RTX 3080 Turbo and GeForce RTX 3070 Turbo are still in the manufacturer’s assortment.
