Marvel’s Avengers developers have published a new trailer and talked about a significant disadvantage of the network mode

In a recent article on the co-op mode of Marvel’s Avengers, Crystal Dynamics studio said that the game will not allow users to rejoin the started session. In other words, you will need to assemble your team again and start the mission again in case of disconnection. Any players dropped from the match will be replaced by AI bots – just like in the beta this month.

This technical flaw is especially strange to see in the 2020 co-op game. But Crystal Dynamics gave hope to gamers that someday the situation will be corrected, ending the sentence with the words “for now

In terms of matchmaking, Crystal Dynamics has confirmed that the system will prioritize matching power users. It is noteworthy that only one version of each hero can be present in a team (that is, you will not see two Thors). To speed up the search for a match, the developers have implemented an option that will allow you to join the new game as a random Avenger.

In addition, the difficulty level does not limit your options for matchmaking: within a match, one user can set the maximum difficulty, and another – the minimum. Marvel’s Avengers will take into account (enemies, rewards) user-selected settings.

Marvel’s Avengers will go on sale on September 4 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia.
