Marvel’s Avengers is out on current-gen consoles, and Black Panther and more will be in the game by the end of the year

There is a separate trailer dedicated to Marvel’s Avengers’ premiere on PS5, Xbox Series X, and S (attached below). Recall that the upgrade to the new consoles’ version is free for owners of the game on PS4 and Xbox One.

Simultaneously, with the release of Marvel’s Avengers on current-gen consoles, Patch 1.5 was released, which added new features to the game and Hawke and slowed down the experience gain after level 25.

Plans for content support for Marvel’s Avengers for the current year, as it turned out, include Black Panther: War for Wakanda – the expansion will not be released until the summer.

As the name suggests, the addon will add to the game the superhero Black Panther and related content such as new villains, factions, biome, increasing the maximum level of character development, etc.

In addition to Black Panther, there are several smaller updates to come. Marvel’s Avengers will host the Tachyon Anomaly event and new content for HARM Challenge Rooms until late spring.

Not earlier than summer, another sector of villains is expected to premiere (as part of the Cosmic Cube add-on with Monica Rapaccini) and the debut of patrol missions (Wasteland Patrol update).

Among other things, the developers are working on implementing additional improvements (combat system, equipment, matchmaking), costumes based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the multiplayer version of the megauli.
