Rumors: Microsoft will release Xbox Series X in November
Microsoft plans to release the new Xbox Series X console in November. This was reported by the journalist of the technical department of Bloomberg Dina Bass (Dina Bass). According to her, she learned about this during an interview with Microsoft CFO Amy Hood.
The exact release dates have not yet been announced. According to Bass, she asked Hood if Microsoft plans to release the console before the November holidays (at the end of November, US residents celebrate Thanksgiving), to which the company’s top manager replied in the affirmative.
Hood’s statement matches the release date that hit the web in March 2020. Some sources reported that the console will be released in November, but Microsoft representatives soon called this information erroneous. However, the company’s previous consoles, including the Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, came out in November.
In a conversation with GameSpot, Microsoft representatives stressed that they are not yet ready to announce an official release date. According to them, the release of the console will take place before the Christmas holidays.
Recall that on July 23, Microsoft will hold a major presentation dedicated to key projects for the Xbox Series X. The company is expected to tell more about Halo Infinite and other video games. Also, according to rumors, the developers may announce a new part of the Fable series.
