Marvel’s Spider-Man gets remastered costumes and support for transferring saves to PS5

Insomniac Games in its microblog announced the release of the previously promised update for its superhero action movie Marvel’s Spider-Man and the first patch for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered.

The main feature of both patches is the ability to transfer saves and achievements from PS4 to PS5. The developers promised to add the feature for Thanksgiving (November 26), but in fact, they did it even earlier.

To access the options that have opened after the update of Marvel’s Spider-Man, you need to press R1 in the main menu – the same button in the PS5 version is responsible for starting the download of the downloaded data.

In addition, in the first patch of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered, the Insomniac Games team has improved the work (quality and performance) of ray tracing and fixed several bugs.

In particular, we are talking about problems related to animation, environment elements, and accessibility settings. We also fixed a bug that caused a crash when exiting standby mode.

Among other things, along with the function of transferring saves to the original Marvel’s Spider-Man, three new costumes were added (more about them are described in separate materials ), which were available in the remaster from the first day of launch.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered is now available on PS5 as part of the complete edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. There is no other way to get a remaster at your disposal.
