May 2020 Update is used by 33.7% of Windows 10 devices
AdDuplex has published a monthly statistical report on the presence of different versions of the Windows 10 operating system on the software market.
According to the data provided, this month the share of Windows 10 May 2020 Update (version 2004) has grown rapidly, which is now installed on 33.7% of computers with the top ten. Last month this figure was 24.1%. This makes it the second most popular version of the operating system. A month ago, the second place in the ranking was occupied by Windows 10 (1903), which was installed on 33.5% of PCs, but now its share has dropped to 25.7%.
The most used is still Windows 10 (1909), whose share is 34.5%. Probably, next month it will cede leadership to the May update of the operating system. The share of all previous assemblies of Windows 10, as well as inside assemblies, is 6.1% of the total.
It is likely that the majority of Windows 10 (1903) users, after the end of support on December 8, will switch to Windows 10 (2004), which will further strengthen its position.
