As part of its third-quarter 2020 financial report, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick said the integration of one game with another will take place in December when the first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War launches.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will have a seasonal content structure familiar from  Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Each season will run for a couple of months and will launch with a new Battle Pass. The latter remains unchanged: it will offer free access to weapons and many cosmetic items.

When Season 1 kicks off in December, players will be able to use open weapons and specialists from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in Call of Duty: Warzone, much like it did between Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Battle Royale. However, combining equipment from one game with different perks from another will not be available.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be released on November 13 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S.
