According to reports, Microsoft has launched support pages for the new Surface Laptop 4 based on AMD and Intel processors. Based on this, we can assume that the vendor is preparing to announce laptops as early as next week as part of the Surface event. The support pages do not reveal the new laptops’ official specifications, but a lot of information is already known about them.

According to reports, the new Microsoft laptops with AMD chips will be equipped with the previous generation processors, namely the Ryzen 4000 on the Zen 2 architecture. Speaking about specific models, it is assumed that laptops on exclusive chips with the Microsoft Surface Edition prefix will be available to buyers, rather than in total, the Ryzen 5 4680U and Ryzen 7 4980U models. The Intel versions of the Surface Laptop 4 are talking about 11th generation processors such as the Core i5-1145G7 and Core i7-1185G7.

The rest of the specs and form factor of the Surface Laptop 4 are broadly in line with the previous generation. It is assumed that the manufacturer will release models with a 13.5- and 15-inch display with an aspect ratio of 3: 2. In the maximum configuration, buyers will be offered 32 GB of RAM and built-in storage with a capacity of 1 TB.

It is worth noting that Microsoft has not yet made any statements about the timing of the Surface Laptop 4. However, the launch of support pages may indicate that new items will be presented shortly.
