Microsoft released an updated Translator app in 2015. Since then, the software product has been supported and updated. Now the decision has been made to discontinue support and remove the Microsoft Store application because ” users have other ways to access the translation function .” Probably, we are talking about the possibility of translation using online services, which can be accessed in a browser.

It’s worth noting that the web version of Microsoft Translator and Android and iOS apps will continue to be supported and available for download. Moreover, Microsoft encourages users to try mobile translator in action. The application has many useful features, including the ability to translate the user’s speech online.

The version of Translator for Windows 10 will continue to work on already installed computers, but it will no longer receive new updates. Obviously, the developers decided to focus on developing the version of the translator for mobile platforms.
