Microsoft is getting rid of “unnecessary” applications in Windows 10

The test build of Windows 10 Preview Build 21332, which has begun to be distributed to participants in the Windows 10 Insider testing program, is missing the Paint 3D and 3D Viewer apps. They can still be downloaded and installed from the Microsoft Store, but they won’t be preinstalled on a clean install of Windows 10

These apps became part of the OS with the launch of the Windows 10 Creators Update, which debuted in spring 2017 four years ago.

For ordinary users, Paint 3D and 3D Viewer will no longer be included in the OS with the release of Windows 10 21H2, codenamed Sun Valley. Also, very few people need the 3D Objects folder in the “Explorer” will disappear.

In addition to applications that are not in demand among users for working with 3D, the not very popular editor of handwritten mathematical formulas Math Input Panel will be put under the knife.
