Microsoft launches first TV ad for Xbox Series X and S: a lot of Halo without Halo itself
Microsoft has released a spectacular commercial for the upcoming next-gen consoles, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Its main slogan is “Power your dreams,” which the platform holder originally used to launch the Xbox Series X on stage. Game Awards back in December.
The one-minute clip features British actor Daniel Kaluuya, best known for his roles in the films Get Out and Black Panther, as well as Labrinth’s new song “No Ordinary”. Interestingly, the ad contains scenes from the sci-fi shooter Halo, despite Halo Infinite being pushed back to 2021.
Xbox Series X will go on sale on November 10 and will cost 45,590 rubles. Xbox Series S launches the same day but is the budget version of the next-gen console (supporting up to 1440p resolution instead of 4K on Series X). It will cost 26,990 rubles in Russia.
