Microsoft lifted a number of restrictions on the distribution of Windows 10 May 2020 Update

According to online sources, Microsoft has lifted some restrictions on the distribution of the May Windows 10 May 2020 Update, also known as Windows 10 (2004). This means that significantly more users of the software platform can now update the top ten to the latest version.

Recall that the distribution of Windows 10 (2004) began at the end of May this year. Shortly thereafter, some users who installed the update started complaining about all sorts of problems, which forced Microsoft to pause the process. Now the restrictions are gradually being lifted, and the update is becoming available to more users of the software platform, including owners of Surface Pro X, Surface Laptop 3, and some third-party devices for which the delivery of Windows 10 (2004) was previously blocked.

Starting yesterday, Windows 10 Update (2004) is being delivered to users for whom it was previously blocked due to the presence of the aksfridge.sys or asdf.sys files on the computer, using old NVIDIA graphics drivers, and for PCs with Realtek Bluetooth and PC with Variable Refresh Rate and Storage Spaces support.

The source also notes that Microsoft will soon fix problems with the defragmentation feature in Windows 10 (2004). An optional update is expected to be released for this. Thus, significantly more users of the Microsoft operating system can now download and install Windows 10 May 2020 Update on their computer.
