Microsoft releases second patch to fix printing problems in Windows 10
Earlier this month, Microsoft started distributing the next cumulative update for supported versions of the Windows 10 software platform. It turned out that this update, in some cases, leads to all sorts of problems with connected printers. It became known that the developers have released a second unscheduled patch, which should solve these problems.
After installing the March Cumulative Update, some users have encountered problems when printing a document to a printer. In some cases, a blue screen of death (BSOD) appears immediately after sending a print document. Also, the printer may print incomplete documents or not print at all, producing blank sheets of paper. It is unclear how widespread this problem is, but it affects printers from different manufacturers.
Earlier this week, Microsoft released a patch that was supposed to fix a bug causing BSODs to appear when printing documents. Now the developers have begun distributing a new patch, which should finally solve all printing problems in Windows 10. The fix is relevant for all supported versions of the software platform, including Windows 10 20H2, Windows 10 (2004), Windows 10 (1909), etc. You can obtain the appropriate package through Windows Update or the Microsoft Update Catalog.
