Microsoft to make some Xbox Game Pass announcements at The Game Awards 2020

Xbox, Microsoft’s gaming arm, recently announced a list of projects that will add to the Xbox Game Pass library in the near future. This became known thanks to a post from Xbox Game Pass Community Manager Megan Spurr on the Xbox Blog. The employee also made an unambiguous hint that there will be some announcements related to Microsoft’s subscription service at The Game Awards 2020.

The manager wrote: “Follow Xbox Game Pass on Twitter and Instagram and Xbox Game Pass for PC on Twitter for reminders when each game [on the list] is available for download. See you at The Game Awards, friends” The last sentence makes it clear that Xbox representatives will be appearing at the upcoming awards ceremony. Most likely, they will make some sort of Game Pass related announcements.

Perhaps the audience will be presented with new projects from internal Microsoft studios. Such a scenario is quite possible because, at The Game Awards 2019, users were first shown the Xbox Series X console and demonstrated the debut trailer for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.

This year’s TGA will be digital. The event will begin on December 11 at 3:00 Moscow time.
