Microsoft unveils Windows 10 2021 mystery

The company has released Insider Preview Build 20241 to Windows Insiders Testing Program members on the Dev Channel, and shared a few updates on the official blog.

First, in the test build, splash screens for Universal Windows Platform (UWP) apps began to adjust to the overall system theme – light or dark. New screensavers will appear for many Microsoft Store system apps, Groove Music, Settings app, Windows Security, clock, calculator, maps, and more.

The Optimize Drives page has also been redesigned. More detailed information about drives will be provided, and a section for advanced users, Advanced View, will appear. The system will warn you if the old hard drive or solid-state drive starts to work incorrectly, and also advises you to make a backup copy of the information.

Also in the taskbar and in the Start menu there is a Meet Now button that allows you to start a video call. The function uses Skype, but if the application is not installed, then the video call will be launched through the browser.
