According to reports, Microsoft will release two updates for Windows 10 this year. These are the 21H1 and 21H2 packages, the first of which will not bring significant changes and will mainly consist of internal improvements aimed at improving system stability and fixing known issues.

New features, as well as changes to the design and interface of Windows 10, will be delivered to users along with the 21H2 package, which is scheduled to launch in the second half of the year. The source says that a major update is being codenamed Sun Valley and Microsoft plans to prepare a release candidate for the new version of Windows 10 in June this year. However, this does not mean that the distribution of the update will begin in the summer. Most likely, Microsoft will make the 21H2 update available to a wide range of users in October or November this year, and until then it will be tested by members of the Windows Insider program.

It is likely that many details regarding the updated interface and design of Windows 10 will be revealed long before the official launch of 21H2 since they will first appear in preliminary OS builds. According to the available data, Microsoft intends to improve the user interface of many elements, including the Start menu, File Explorer, taskbar, and others. Redesigned various interface elements are also expected to appear.
