This is the price of the barebone kit
Minisforum has introduced the UM690S mini PC with a Ryzen processor and a price starting at just $351.
True, this is the price for a Barebone kit, and a fully finished mini-PC will cost from $479, but with 32 GB of RAM.
The new product is based on the Ryzen 9 6900HX. This mini-PC is an update to the UM690 model with an enhanced cooling system. Perhaps users complained about the original version.

The new cooling system is quite unusual for this class of mini PCs. There is a main unit with a fan and heat pipes, there is also an additional heatsink for the drive and two additional fans at the bottom of the case.
The company’s tests showed that the SSD heats up to 44 degrees versus 68 degrees in the original version of the PC.
As for the rest, we can highlight four USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectors, one USB4, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, RJ45 (2.5 GbE), and a pair of HDMI.
