Playstack and Cold Symmetry have announced that the action RPG Mortal Shell will be released on PC ( Epic Games Store ), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on August 18th. On Steam, the release will take place only in 2021.

Mortal Shell is set in a fantasy world where humanity is on the brink of extinction. You have to fight the walking dead and fanatics, as well as explore the sanctuaries and ruins of a destroyed civilization in order to find the remains of the defeated warriors. After awakening their mortal shells, you will learn new talents and abilities.

The gameplay of Mortal Shell is similar to Dark Souls and the like. You need to consider every step in battle, parry, counterattack, and not rush rashly at the enemy.
